Boots, Flannel, and Sweaters; A Love Story.

Although I love being sun-kissed in the summer and the beautiful flowers in spring, nothing makes me jump for joy than fall. The crisp cool nights, pumpkin picking, pumpkin spice everything (seriously, EVERYTHING), and of course the fashion sends my happiness into a tizzy.

The comfortable and yet adorable fashion that comes with fall is like no other season. Here are our favorite fall fashion must haves.

Boots

Every year you will find at least one reason why you need those new brown high-top boots. Not to mention those black riding boots for the days you can't pair with your new brown boots.

This year I found mine at Charlotte Russe.

Whether they are combat, riding, or cowboy, fall footwear is stylish and comfortable. Fall rolls around and relieves me from thin flip-flops and end of summer pumps. Love the height your favorite pumps give you? There's high heeled boots for that.

Thank you fall. Thank you for keeping my feet warm and fashionable.


Leggings

All year long leggings get a bad rep as 'not pants.' Which lets be clear, in 99% of cases they should NOT be pants.

But when fall rolls around a beauty makes it's way out of the back of your closet and sets your leggings free to be pants. Thank you oversize sweaters!

We all have them and cry a little on the inside when we have to trade our leggings for jeans when we go out, but in the fall throw a sweater or that adorable cardigan on and viola! your tears are saved.

Black leggings are my workouts best friend, bold colors will make your fall fashion pop. So go for it! Buy those maroon leggings and rock it.

 Flannel

It's that cool night by the fire must have. My flannel keeps me cute and comfortable on those nights were it's mildly chilly but too warm for a sweater.

Nothing made me happier when small town flannel fashion became more than just "small town fashion." Although after moving to NJ it's very rarely seen outside the country concerts, the style has at least made it's way out of small town USA.

My flannel serves as the perfect over coat when the wind blows and the best waist accessory when I've gotten too warm by the fire.

Paired with my cowboy boots and my orange paisley bow and I am set for any fall night occasion.



Over-sized Sweaters

There's not a bad thing you can say while bundled up in your favorite sweater. The air is cool, but not too cold and you're warm, cozy, and cute in your favorite fall sweater.

The colors, the patterns; what's not to love?

I absolutely love the Aztec pattern on sweaters. But I also love the beige, chocolate colors pared with an Aztec bow.

Maybe it's the comfortable clothes or my birthday falling at just the right part of Fall, but it happened either way.
